MOC Project
In the Measures of Community project, we worked individually and created surveys, analyzed data, and visually represented that data about our classmates in order to answer the questions:
1) How do we measure the important things in life?
2) How do numbers influence and?
We began with an overarching theme for which we developed questions we could ask our classmates in a survey. We then analyzed our data by displaying it graphically and completing statistical computations. The observations we made during this analysis where then turned into an Infographic in which our findings were displayed. The work was displayed as a large bar chart and organized by the topic of the infographic.
The observation I made was gathering information on food, and I asked 2 quantitative questions and 2 qualitative questions. I was surprised to find that students preferred Italian food. 10 out of 42 students chose Italian food, which would be around 29% of students out of our team, which chose Italian food. I also noticed that most of the students take 30 minutes in eating, but only four people take 25 minutes to eat.
